SUP for Clean Cookstove Education
This event is to help the Millar's Mission in the Maya village of Chanchén, Mexico raise money to educate their villagers about the need and use of clean burning cookstoves. To raise awareness for better air quality and reducing deforestation, on Aug 23rd, 2014 we will Stand Up Paddle 14 or 16.5 nautical miles (depending on the wind direction) from the island of Cozumel to Paamul with local villagers to give them a chance for a healthier life. God Speed!

Mission Complete!
This album tells a story. It provides you with a glimpse of the big journey from Paamul to Cozumel that 7 paddlers completed to raise money for clean cook stoves and education in ChanChen, as well as what that paddle was all about.
After the SUPforStoves paddle was complete, it was time to deliver the chimneys (brought down from Canada) and be a part of a stove's installation in ChanChen. What an incredible experience all-round. For those of you who paddled, these pictures represent what it was you were paddling for. For those of you who donated, these pictures hopefully allow you to share in the great experience.
Thank-you all for your donations and support along the way. Thank-you as well to Doug Millar and his big ideas and dedicated efforts that continue to help this world be a better place.
